About the Company:

We are seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and transition of innovative mechatronic systems.

  • Design and develop mechatronic systems for our global aerospace, defence & security engineering innovator
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technical design issues related to RF and EO countermeasures and their integration into defence systems
  • Lead the design, development, and transition of new or modified products and processes into production
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support the RD&D department
  • Prepare proposals for product development including project plans, resource scheduling, and costing

About You:

To be successful as a Mechatronics Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree or L6 equivalent in Mechatronics Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Experienced Mechatronics Engineer or Electromechanical Engineer at a senior level of ability
  • Design of mechatronic products experience
  • Electronic design 3D CAD experience at a good level
  • Experience of Project Management
  • Experience of New Product Development (NPD)
  • Knowledge of collating and writing Risk Assessments
  • Practical Engineering Skills and Good Workshop Practice
  • British Citizen holding or eligible for SC Clearance
