Job Overview

As a Mechatronics Engineer with Macstaff, you will play a key role in the design and development of cutting-edge mechatronic systems for global aerospace, defence, and security engineering.

With a strong focus on innovation and technical expertise, this position requires a highly skilled individual to lead and support the work of the RD&D department as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Mechatronics Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering and possess significant experience in design, project management, and new product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechatronic products, ensuring they meet company procedures and customer requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers and lead development programmes to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
  • Act as an interface between the RD&D department and electronic component suppliers
  • Support the design and testing of electronic test equipment
