About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team at our Castle Donington depot. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing our equipment, both in the depot and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in servicing plant equipment, particularly pumps, within the depot.
  • Carry out major repairs on equipment that requires specialized procedures.
  • Refurbish end-of-life equipment to restore it to its original condition.
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment onto delivery lorries using Hi-Ab Lorry Mounted Crane and Forklift Truck.
  • Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained to a high standard.
  • Report any major problems with equipment to the Foreman/Depot Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of diesel engines.
  • Previous mechanical experience.
  • NVQ3 or suitable Apprenticeship.
  • Good working knowledge of EHSQ.
  • Time Management.
  • UK driving license.
