Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Complex Care Team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team providing high standards of care to patients with complex continuing care needs in their own homes or local hospitals.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Assess patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in conjunction with the patient and their family.
  2. Complete and evaluate risk assessments for patients and staff, and produce contingency plans as required.
  3. Undertake and be responsible for the practical teaching of unregistered staff, ensuring they have completed necessary patient-specific skills training.
  4. Lead and manage designated staff, ensuring regular clinical and managerial supervision, appraisal, support, staff development, and training.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (RN Child, Adult, or Learning Disability)
  • Post-registration experience in PICU, ITU, or Community Care
