About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing group as a Maintenance Engineer in their industrial sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing planned preventative maintenance on heavy and automated plant machinery, including robotics, presses, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.
  • Reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the company's manufacturing processes and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a factory environment, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 mechanical qualification or higher.
