About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an independent end-point assessor for Supply Chain Practitioner (Fast Moving Consumer Goods FMCG) Level 3 End Point Assessments.

This role involves assessing the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria, and ensuring that overall standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Take part in regular training and standardisation activities associated with the role of IEA for this EPA.
  2. Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  3. Assess the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures, ensuring overall standards are maintained.
  4. Follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials, and quality assurance protocols relating to the EPAs.
  5. Maintain service-level agreements with regards to responding to EPA planning, operational activities, reports, and submissions of assessment outcomes.
  6. Report all risks and issues encountered during the end-point assessment to Pearson, including any suspected malpractice/maladministration.
  7. Ensure all EPA reports and assessment evidence are high quality and recorded accurately.
  8. Support Pearson, if necessary, with any appeals from apprentices regarding assessment decisions.
  9. Raise any conflicts of interest, including in relation to the independence of assessment.
  10. Ensure that any personal actions are completed, as required by Pearson.
  11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pearson's EPA activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the supply chain industry, including health and safety requirements, industry structure and processes, and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

In addition, they will possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively respond to conflicts, and flexibility to understand and respond to the individual needs and circumstances of employers/apprentices.

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
