About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Mental Health Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Complex Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, behaviours that challenge, and trauma-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and practical support to individuals with complex mental health needs, including personal care, medication administration, and daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in complex mental health care.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, behaviours that challenge, and trauma-related conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Health Act and the Care Act.
