About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Mental Health Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Complex Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, behaviours that challenge, and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and practical support to individuals with complex mental health needs, including personal care, medication administration, and daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualised support plans, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to SeeAbility's values and policies.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of mental health theories and practices, with a commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to SeeAbility's policies and procedures.
