Lead Composite Designer

Andretti Cadillac is seeking a highly skilled Lead Composite Designer to join our team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of composite components and associated tooling in the Wings, Bodywork, or Chassis Teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop engineering solutions by creating layouts and schemes for major composite assemblies, ensuring optimal design and functionality.
- Take ownership of all composite projects, identifying risks and opportunities to the Head of Composites.
- Design and create CAD models and drawings for analysis and detail design.
- Provide guidance and supervision to composite designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.
- Collaborate with the team to provide complete information for composite production processes, including materials, techniques, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX, with a proven track record of producing accurate and efficient designs.
- Extensive knowledge of composite component design and composite materials.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
