Classroom Support Specialist

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts, leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance. As a Trainee Classroom Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for facilitating the classes learning, managing classroom behaviour, recording accurate registers, and providing a handover to the absent teacher.
To succeed in this role, you must be adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, with a passion for education and supporting young people. Although previous experience of working in a Secondary School is desirable, it is not essential. If you are new to the role, we encourage you to apply as this is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience and develop your skills as an educator.
This position offers a competitive salary of £120-180 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
