Supporting Children with SEN/SEMH Needs

A graduate mental health assistant is sought to work closely with teaching professionals and support staff at an Outstanding Primary School in Enfield. This role involves providing additional support to children with SEN/SEMH needs in 1:1 and small group settings, as well as in the classroom.

About the Role
  • Work in a highly regarded Primary School
  • Located in the Borough of Enfield
  • Support students requiring extra help in the classroom
  • Provide regular feedback to class teachers
  • Set and work towards targets aimed at individual pupil development
  • Plan and lead 1:1 and small group sessions
Key Details
  • Paid £105-£110 per day
  • Work across EYFS/KS1/KS2 age groups
  • Monday to Friday, no weekends
  • Long-term, full-time position
  • Ongoing opportunities for permanent positions or teacher training
  • Based in Enfield
  • Immediate start available
Requirements
  • A graduate with strong academic credentials, including a degree from a reputable university
  • Previous school-based experience
  • A solid understanding of SEN/SEMH needs - prior experience is beneficial
  • A committed, driven, and compassionate individual with a passion for learning and supporting others
