Job Title: Mental Health Support Coordinator

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Enfield Council as a Mental Health Support Coordinator. As a compassionate professional, you will provide high-quality support to service users, empowering them to achieve their care and health outcomes.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a main support worker handling a caseload of adults with primary, severe, and enduring mental health needs. You will assess, design, and implement care plans while working within local policies and legislation. Your role involves collaborating with service users to establish effective relationships and promoting their inclusion and participation in the community.

You will be responsible for coordinating with professionals and community organizations, ensuring service users have advocacy assistance and opportunities for independent living. You will uphold the Council's policies on health, safety, data management, and safeguarding, while actively engaging in training and team workshops to enhance service delivery. The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality support to service users, empowering them to achieve their care and health outcomes.
  2. Audit and review existing care plans, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  3. Collaborate with service users to establish effective relationships and promote their inclusion and participation in the community.

Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work, Counselling, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a main support worker handling a caseload of adults with primary, severe, and enduring mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
