Your responsibilities will include assisting a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) in delivering a comprehensive occupational therapy service. You will conduct assessments, implement interventions, and collaborate with the OT to ensure effective patient care.

About the Position:
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to think critically will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist (OT), the post holder will be expected to:

Assist with providing a comprehensive occupational therapy service.

Carry out assessments and other tasks that have initially been screened by the therapist.

Carry out appropriate interventions, requesting advice or support as required.

Perform any other task requested by the therapist appropriate to their remit, role, and responsibilities.

Assist the therapist in facilitating the safe discharge of patients from care, including delivery and fitting of equipment that has been agreed as needed.

Undertake appropriate training as indicated by the therapist specific to the client group encountered.
