SEN Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled SEN teacher to join our team at Academics Ltd, supporting children with Autism and a range of SEN in Primary Mainstream and SEN settings across South West London.

This role involves working with Class Teachers across schools, providing SEN support and running intervention groups to enhance and support the learning of children with SEN.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of knowledge and experience teaching children with SEN, with a focus on ASD (Autism) and complex and SEMH needs.

As a SEN teacher with Academics Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of schools, covering short-term absence and blocks of work, and will be expected to be flexible and have excellent interpersonal skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualifications.
  2. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS).
  3. Excellent Primary curriculum knowledge.
  4. Experience teaching in SEND settings.
  5. Willingness and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.
