About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Same Day Emergency Care and Rapid Access Unit at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Take responsibility for own professional development and clinical update to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and contemporary records of care and treatment in line with Trust record-keeping policy and NMC.
  • Work within Trust Nursing policies and procedures, undertaking all appropriate aspects of nursing care required, including specific relevant clinical skills gained following appropriate training and instruction.
  • Respond positively and act promptly to resolve problems/issues for patients/carers, utilising complaints procedures and PALs where appropriate.
