Therapy Intervention Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Intervention Lead to join our Occupational Therapy team in Waverley Community Mental Health Recovery Service. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions, as well as providing supervision and mentoring to more junior staff members.

About the Team
  • Our Occupational Therapy team uses the Model of Human Occupation to guide all our assessments and interventions.
  • We offer extensive CPD programmes, including robust supervision structures, care group meetings, and trust-wide training.

The ideal candidate will have experience using multiple occupational frames of reference and approaches, as well as contributing to service development and project work. You will also have a strong understanding of the principles of occupational therapy and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Work Environment

This role will be based primarily in Epsom, but you may be expected to work within all surrounding community services as needed. The post constitutes a 50% delivery of Occupational Therapy interventions and a 50% of care coordination/lead professional for people with occupational needs.
