Technician with Diagnostic Expertise

KPI People is looking for a skilled diagnostic technician in Northampton. This position demands expertise in vehicle diagnostics, ensuring efficient problem-solving in complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:- Rectify complex vehicle issues based on manufacturer guidelines
- Cambelt, clutch, gearbox, and engine repair/replacement services
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills application
- Maintenance of mechanic warranties
- DVSA-compliant MOT testing (for those certified)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance
- Diagnostic technician accreditation by the manufacturer
- At least two years of post-apprenticeship experience
- Valid full UK driving license
- Class 4 MOT license
- Manufacturer-specific accreditations
- Class 4 and Class 7 MOT licenses
£37,000 - £42,000 salary range based on experience
Standard working hours with one Saturday shift every three weeks
Continuous manufacturer training
Training in hybrid/electric vehicles
