Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance
    Professionally employ sales skills to achieve sales targets, including corporate accounts, learners, client spend, and client margin.
  • Business Development
    Develop relationships with professional bodies to support business development activities and gather intelligence on customer needs.
  • Communication
    Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face, and written communications, including sales and marketing presentations.
  • Customer Intelligence
    Liaise with new and existing clients to bring back customer intelligence and ensure our clients understand and meet current and future needs.
  • Relationship Management
    Maintain and develop existing corporate client relationships, keeping existing customers abreast of new products and promotions.
  • Strategy Execution
    Support the research, development, and execution of a corporate business development strategy and plan of activity to generate and achieve set targets of corporate sales.
  • Product Knowledge
    Work with our clients' senior managers to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and relevant sales collateral to facilitate sales of all our clients' products.
  • Teamwork
    Establish and maintain good working relationships with a diverse range of people, including staff in member/partner organisations/employers and beneficiaries supported through projects.
  • Performance Management
    Manage performance of targeted outputs and outcomes associated with contracts delivery in line with customer requirements, funding programme guidelines, and profile for a number of key accounts.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience
    Proven recent sales experience demonstrated in a B2B environment, ideally from within the apprenticeship sector.
  • Sales Skills
    Proven recent sales skills, including closing, prospecting, sales planning, selling to customer needs, territory and account management, market knowledge, meeting sales targets.
  • Forecasting
    Forecasting within your pipeline for financial profiling purposes.
About the Role

This role requires a flexible and adaptable approach, with a primary base in Wythenshawe and occasional business travel nationwide. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with good report writing and presentation skills and confidence presenting to large groups of people.
