Job Title: Finance Director & Company Secretary

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our team at Lanes Health, a leading family-owned supplier of branded household health products. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing financial stewardship to our Holding company and two main operating companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide timely and insightful financial reports to the Executive Chairman and Senior Leadership Team, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of all group companies, including year-end and monthly management accounting.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the group's assets and financial health.
  • Leadership and Development: Coach and develop members of the Finance team, ensuring the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and financial controls.
  • Company Secretarial: Administer the group's legal contracts, agreements, and liaison with group legal representatives.
  • Intellectual Property: Manage the group's intellectual property, including understanding, registering, and renewing UK and international trademarks.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with broad experience operating and advising at a senior level.
  • Experience of working in manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of Health & Safety and HR principles and law.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to blend the desire to grow the business with the commitment to upholding the values that make Lanes Health the business it is.
