The successful candidate can expect a salary of £38,000 - £53,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in driving financial excellence and client satisfaction.



Job Description


This is a key role that requires the ability to analyze requirements and produce comprehensive contract life cycle cost plans. You will provide support and clarification to stakeholders on contract queries, engage with supply chain partners, and conduct procurement activities, including framework contracts. You will also be responsible for controlling project or contract costs, understanding health and safety regulations, and authorizing supply chain invoices and settling accounts.



Main Responsibilities



  • Analysis of requirements and production of comprehensive contract life cycle cost plans
  • Provide support and clarification to stakeholders on contract queries
  • Engage with supply chain partners and conduct procurement activities, including framework contracts
  • Control all aspects of project or contract costs
  • Understand health and safety regulations and industry requirements
  • Authorize supply chain invoices and settle accounts
  • Carry out invoicing and applications as appropriate
  • Pricing billable works and agreeing variations
  • Produce cash flow forecasts as necessary
  • Maintain and contribute to robust commercial procedures
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of industry developments and practices
  • Build and maintain effective working relations with other departments


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A relevant industry qualification
  • Commercial experience in a construction or maintenance environment
  • Management of project costs
  • Knowledge of facilities management processes
  • Working relationships with clients and supply chain partners
  • Microsoft Office software, with a focus on Excel skills
  • Estimating and SoR's
  • M&E experience


Desirable Qualifications



  • Formal Quantity Surveying qualification
  • IACCM/WCC Practitioner
  • CIPS or equivalent
  • CIWFM
  • RICS Accreditation
