About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Lead to manage our catering department at Fremington Primary School. As part of the South West Norse commercial services, this role involves delivering an exciting and varied menu that utilizes locally sourced ingredients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing menus, while ensuring excellent customer service standards are met. This includes providing input into menu planning and costing, as well as leading and directing a small on-site team to ensure timely preparation and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute menus that meet the needs of children with complex needs
  • Lead and direct a small on-site team to ensure timely preparation and high-quality standards
  • Provide input into menu planning and costing
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards

Salary: Estimated salary: £45,840 - £55,988 per annum (based on 30-40 hours per week). An enhanced DBS check is required for the successful candidate, paid for by the employer.
