CAPABILITY SCOTLAND - SDS Brokerage is seeking a highly motivated and caring After-School Care Provider to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to a local family in the evenings, assisting with childcare and light household duties.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a valid UK driving license, as they will be required to transport children from Dumfries to Castle Douglas and other leisure activities. You will work collaboratively with the family to understand their needs and preferences, providing 9 hours of support per week, paid at £12 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To assist with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and confidence in children.
  2. To work collaboratively with the family to understand their needs and preferences.
  3. To provide 9 hours of support per week, paid at £12 per hour.
Requirements
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • 9 hours of support per week.
  • Patient, friendly, and preferably previous experience working with children with additional support needs.

Estimated salary: £10,800 - £13,200 per annum (£12 per hour).
