We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Placements Team is responsible for ensuring that children have safe, stable, and supportive homes. This involves assessing and approving foster placements and special guardianship arrangements, as well as recruiting and retaining local carers.

Providing therapeutic services for children and carers to prevent placement disruptions is another key aspect of the role. The team works closely with the Fostering Panel and supports foster carers with 24/7 professional advice to ensure placement stability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and approving foster placements and special guardianship arrangements
  • Recruiting and retaining local carers
  • Providing therapeutic services for children and carers
  • Working closely with the Fostering Panel
