Senior Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead our Food Service Wholesale business. This is a key role within the group, responsible for driving commercial strategy, building strategic relationships, and ensuring that our products continue to delight our growing food service customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day relationships with national Food Service Wholesale accounts, ensuring exceptional service and acting as the face of the company across a varied customer portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue, market share, and profitability.
- Oversee the management of a National Account Manager and a Commercial Executive, guiding them to achieve sales targets, account management, and business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, drive growth within existing accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute account strategies seamlessly.
- Travel across the UK for client meetings and industry events, representing the company with professionalism and gravitas.
- Minimum 5 years in a Commercial Sales or National Account Management role within the UK food industry, ideally within food service wholesale.
- Proven experience managing teams and driving performance, with a strong track record of meeting sales targets and growing market share.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to form, build, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Outstanding computer skills (MS Office), strong numeracy, and the ability to analyse and use market data effectively.
