About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Apprenticeship. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our Motor Vehicle Repair Training program and working closely with our Training Centre Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art technology centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily management of the facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in facilitating training sessions and events, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all participants receive a high-quality learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, evaluations, and participant feedback, using this information to inform future training programs and improve overall performance.
  • Provide administrative support for training programs, including document preparation and data entry, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Coordinate logistics for motor vehicle repair training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communication, ensuring that all sessions run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Schedule training courses, working closely with our Training Centre Manager to ensure that all courses are well-planned and executed.
What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive training program, which includes on-the-job practical skills and theoretical knowledge from off-the-job learning. You will be paired with a dedicated DLG mentor who will support your training on site every step of the way. You will also attend online and face-to-face learning support sessions, which will take place at our site. There is an End-Point-Assessment for this apprenticeship, where you will be required to demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

Requirements
  • You will have or be predicted an A*-G (9-1) GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, which you will need to be able to evidence. However, if you have extenuating circumstances, please do get in touch.
  • You will need to have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.

You will need to be a great listener, be able to adapt your approach, and most importantly, be there to support our customers when they need us the most. We are looking for someone who is super organised, has great attention to detail, and can use their own initiative and maintain focus when faced with high volumes of work, ensuring accuracy. This apprenticeship is a great opportunity for someone who is highly proactive and eager to learn.
