Job Title: Marketing and Business Development Assistant

Our client, a medium-sized family-owned construction business, is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to join their Pre-Construction team. The successful candidate will have previous construction industry experience and be responsible for implementing company objectives, branding, and core values through various marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's activities and services.
  • Manage the company's website and social media platforms, ensuring consistency across all forms of communication and promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research and intelligence to identify new and innovative methods to market the company's activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOI's) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ's) for tender opportunities.
  • Attend events, seminars, and networking sessions to identify new business opportunities and initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Marketing and New Business Manager in identifying new markets and business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in the construction industry, preferably in a marketing role.
  • Confident, outgoing, and well-organized with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, honest, and able to work to deadlines with a high level of priority.
