About the Job

We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our team as a Year 2 Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to design curriculum materials and promote inclusive learning environments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire students. A bachelor's degree in education or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, is essential.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement engaging lessons that meet the needs of Year 2 students.
  2. Promote inclusive learning environments and foster positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum materials and share best practices.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
