**Job Title:** Food and Beverage Server

Overview: The Inn at Laurel Point is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced dining environment.

Salary: $98-$19.48 per hour (plus gratuities) plus comprehensive extended health benefits package

Responsibilities:

  • Have good working knowledge of POS systems and payment machines to provide efficient and accurate ordering and billing.
  • Assist other outlets where possible with serving, bussing, and table maintenance if required.
  • Support the Duo Café & Bakery team during barista rest periods and meal breaks if not assisting with IRD orders.
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus to deliver accurate information to guests and continually self-educate on food and wine knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, supervisors, and colleagues using appropriate etiquette and language.
  • Familiarize yourself with Inn facilities and city attractions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Comply with Inn policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Prior serving experience is an asset.
  • Able to work without constant supervision.
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Foodsafe Level 1 and Serving It Right certifications are required.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
