About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Home Care Companion to join our team in Kendal. As a Home Care Companion, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients with personal care, companionship, and domestic tasks.

Salary: £19.13 per hour (enhanced rate for bank holidays)

Job Description:

  • Assist with personal care, including continence support, washing, and dressing
  • Manage medications and provide companionship to our clients
  • Prepare hot meals and assist with domestic tasks
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to our clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A kind and compassionate approach to caring for others
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes

  • Guaranteed hours available, with permanent contracts up to 24 hours per week
  • Enhanced bank holiday rate of £19.13 per hour (£25.50 Christmas and New Year)
