About the Role

Nano Fibre UK is seeking a skilled Fibre Engineer to join our team in the Birmingham area. As a Fibre Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's growth by installing fibre broadband services in homes across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install fibre broadband services in homes, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and meeting our service level agreements.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve our customer service targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Travel to different locations within the UK, as required, to install fibre broadband services.
  • Work irregular hours and overtime, as necessary, to meet our customer service targets.
  • Be medically fit and able to perform physical tasks, such as climbing poles.
Requirements
  • Experience in a networking engineering environment, with a proven track record of installing fibre broadband services.
  • FTTP fibre installation experience is preferred, but not essential. We offer full training and accreditation support for the right candidate.
  • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
  • Good logical skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and find the best customer solutions.
  • A valid UK driver's licence, as you will be visiting homes in your area.
