About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Salisbury. As a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients in the community, working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake urgent and routine psychiatric assessments
  • Liaise with GPs regarding patient medical monitoring results
  • Provide advice and consultation to multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure effective and timely documentation and communication of clinical decision making and management plans

Requirements

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
