Job Overview

As a key member of the ASDA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety across our operations.

Reporting to the [Manager's Name], you will be responsible for managing relationships with external audit providers, supporting the development of inspection plans, and implementing effective resolution strategies for food safety referrals and regulatory contacts.

You will also be accountable for creating and reviewing policies, processes, and procedures relevant to food safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Additionally, you will support the transformation of our systems, processes, and approach following the divestiture from Walmart, while maintaining a strong focus on compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Primary Authority relationship for Food Safety, including requesting business advice and implementing inspection plans.
  • Manage relationships with external audit providers and support day-to-day audit management.
  • Accountable for the effective resolution of issues identified from Food Safety referrals and regulatory contacts.
  • Develop and maintain policies, processes, and procedures relevant to food safety regulations.
  • Support the transformation of our systems, processes, and approach following the divestiture from Walmart.
