Are you a seasoned quality professional seeking a challenging role in the medical equipment industry? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Pertemps Network Group in Hertford, where you'll lead the quality department and drive regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the quality department, communicating expectations, and ensuring adherence to ISO 13485 standards. You'll also be responsible for updating and improving the Quality Management System, implementing automated testing, and identifying and resolving non-conformances.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the quality department, ensuring effective communication and leadership.
  • Develop and implement quality standards, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485.
  • Update and improve the Quality Management System, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements.
  • Implement automated testing, identifying and resolving non-conformances.
  • Maintain cleanliness and traceability in production areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO13485, UKCA, and MDR standards, with over 5 years' experience in a supervisory quality role.
  • Experience in ISO quality systems (9001, 13485), preferably in the medical field.
  • Engineering background, with metalwork and plastic components within an SME environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
