St Andrew's First Aid is Scotland's dedicated first aid charity and leading first aid training provider. Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of first aid skills through first aid event cover, first aid training courses and first aid education within schools and communities across Scotland.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving our business growth and revenue generation for first aid training and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and target potential new business customers generating new business leads and sales opportunities
  • Develop and implement a robust sales plan meticulously following up on all opportunities to maximize conversion
  • Work closely with our marketing team to develop sales strategies including acquisition campaigns and new lead generation
  • Prepare and present customer quotes, proposals and sales presentations using all available sales materials
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer records including sales opportunities on our Training Management System
  • Identify and attend relevant networking events to obtain high quality training leads and prospects
  • Expand your professional network through the strategic use of LinkedIn and other networking platforms

Requirements:

  • Standard and Higher Grades including English and Mathematics
  • Experience in generating your own sales leads
  • Extensive B2B sales working knowledge
  • Experience in successfully achieving new business targets in a B2B environment
  • Experience of working with and collating data from a variety of sources
  • PC Literate and confident in the use of all Microsoft Applications
  • Numerate and data literate with good written and oral communication skills
  • Must hold a full and valid driving licence, have access to own transport and be able to travel across Scotland on a frequent basis
