About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Process Engineer to join our team in Crewe. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the industrial control of Special Processes within our current manufacturing operations and product launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, set up, and carry out manufacturing audits in line with special process requirements
  • Ensure compliance is maintained for the qualification of all product/process special process requirements
  • Support sourcing teams in the suppliers' qualification and quality follow-up for suppliers concerned by special processes
  • Manage quality control processes dedicated to special processes within manufacturing operations
  • Ensure deployment and validation of new processes aligns with product/project planning regarding special processes
  • Review, amend, and issue relevant documents within the quality system relevant to special processes
  • Support transfer of technology relating to special process documentation, process, and training
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in a similar role involving the maintenance and overhaul of safety-critical systems/equipment
  • Advanced/business fluent level of English

Desirable:

  • Degree or higher certificate in engineering/technical discipline
  • Knowledge of processes such as paint systems, joint torquing, shrink fitting, gluing, and bonding
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems, BOM management, and SAP
