Your Future Role

Embrace a new challenge and leverage your expertise in special processes within a cutting-edge environment. You will report directly to the Head of Technical Services in Crewe and collaborate with a team of dedicated and passionate professionals.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing the industrial control of Special Processes (SP) within current manufacturing operations and during product launches. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to manage industrial risks through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plans.

We will look to you for:

  • Defining, establishing, and conducting manufacturing audits in accordance with special process requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance is upheld for the qualification of all product/process Special Process requirements.
  • Supporting sourcing teams in the qualification of suppliers and overseeing quality follow-up for suppliers involved in Special Processes.
  • Managing quality control processes dedicated to Special Processes within manufacturing operations.
  • Ensuring that the deployment and validation of new processes align with product/project planning regarding special processes.
  • Reviewing, amending, and issuing relevant documents within the Quality System pertaining to special processes.
  • Supporting the Transfer of Technology related to Special Process documentation, processes, and training.

  • Strong experience in a similar role involving the maintenance and overhaul of safety-critical systems/equipment.
  • Advanced/business fluent level of English.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree or Higher Certificate in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with processes such as Paint Systems, Joint Torquing, Shrink Fitting, Gluing, and Bonding is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems, including BOM management and SAP.
