About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Elowen Hospital in Derbyshire.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to patients on our 12-bed female complex personality disorder service.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess referrals, undertake mental state examinations, and develop treatment plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Assessing referrals and developing treatment plans
  • Undertaking mental state examinations and investigations
  • Participating in ward rounds and clinical audits
  • Leading the implementation of risk assessment and risk management
