Fleet Manager Opportunity

Facilities by ADF is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to join their team in Longcross, Surrey. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the National Fleet Manager with day-to-day driver management and develop and train the driving team to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure road safety and compliance across all sites via regular audits and weekly verification of driver's hours regulations.
  • Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant filing of paperwork and conduct at least 3 base audits per week.
  • Train staff to use the R2C system and monitor its usage, addressing any issues.
  • Oversee incident reporting and insurer referrals, lead pre-production base compliance meetings, and ensure accurate Monday reports.
  • Interview and select employees, ensuring a positive induction to the company, and maintain and develop relationships with sub-contractors, agency staff, and clients.
  • Identify and implement site operational efficiency improvements and manage the Driver Training and Assessing team, encouraging timely documentation.
Requirements:
  • Fleet/Transport Manager International CPC qualification and knowledge of Operator Licence Regulations.
  • Experience of providing exceptional customer service, compliance auditing processes, and flexible working hours to ensure contact time with day, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, and desirable qualifications in Fleet Maintenance Systems, Training experience, and/or recognised Health & Safety Qualification.
