Emergency Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, examine, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and un-diagnosed injuries/illnesses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide optimum care for patients, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
- Hold clinical responsibility for assessing, examining, diagnosing, and managing patients, within the scope of practice of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
- Responsible for the safe discharge of patients from the Emergency Department or to other specialties.
- Provide specialist education and training to junior doctors, medical & nursing students, and other staff members.
- Act as a team leader for Emergency Nurse Practitioners and facilitate the teaching and training of junior staff and new nurse practitioners.
- NMC Registered Nurse
- ILS
- Up-to-date and wide evidence-based knowledge in relation to clinical specialty
- Demonstrates evidence of professional development
- Experience of working with the Multi-Disciplinary team
- Clinical supervision experience
- Knowledge of the clinical governance agenda
- Ability to speak Welsh
- IT & presentation skills
