Social Services Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Permanency and Pathways Team, supporting Looked After Children and their families in Flintshire. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
Key Responsibilities- Support children and families through the care planning process, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Work collaboratively with the Permanency Team to develop and implement care plans that prioritize the child's well-being and safety.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, residential staff, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective support network.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safety of Looked After Children.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the sharing of best practices and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
