Relief Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Care Assistant to join our team at Pannel Croft Retirement Village, part of the Extra Care Charitable Trust.
About UsOur village provides a unique opportunity for residents to live independently while having access to a range of care and lifestyle services. As a Relief Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
Salary and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is £12.34 per hour. You will also be entitled to benefits such as 33 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time staff), buy and sell holiday scheme, free life insurance, cycle-to-work scheme, attendance reward, and free use of onsite gym.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver all aspects of domiciliary care to residents, including physical, personal care, and support with social activities.
- Promote and support the physical, emotional, and well-being of residents.
- Encourage independence and self-belief among residents.
- Ensure accurate records and documents are completed in line with company policy.
- Hold a care certificate or be willing to undertake a care qualification.
- Demonstrate personable, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
- Show passion for delivering a quality care service.
- Show flexibility with hours.
