Job Title:

Educational Leader for Key Stage 2

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KS2 Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and leading a group of students in Key Stage 2, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and lead a class of students in Key Stage 2, planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student progress and achievement, working closely with colleagues to share best practice.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum, ensuring that it is relevant, challenging and meets the needs of all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment, using data to inform teaching and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and social emotional learning.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Proven experience of teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and current educational trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special educational needs.
  • Outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice, staying up-to-date with best practice in education.
Salary:

The salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
