Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based services.

About the Role

We are looking for a technical analyst with a strong background in security operations, cloud security, and network security fundamentals. You will be responsible for monitoring incoming event queues, identifying and investigating security incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and analyze security event queues to identify potential security threats.
  2. Investigate and triage security incidents, working with engineering teams to resolve issues.
  3. Develop and maintain security procedures and processes to ensure compliance with Oracle's security policies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security-related issues and improve overall security posture.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, providing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  2. Strong background in security operations, cloud security, and network security fundamentals.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  5. Experience with Linux operating systems and security tools.
