About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team at Virgin Atlantic Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with teams from various departments to define data governance requirements and standards.
  3. Lead efforts to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  4. Establish and maintain a data catalog and metadata management system.
  5. Drive the development and implementation of AI governance principles and practices.
  6. Provide guidance and support to business and technical teams on data and AI governance matters.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in data governance and AI governance. You should have a deep understanding of data governance frameworks, principles, and effective approaches. Additionally, you should have experience with data quality management and metadata management, as well as knowledge of data protection regulations.
