Job Title: Government Loan Officer

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Government Loan Officer to join our team in Crawley, UK. As a Government Loan Officer, you will be responsible for managing and processing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) within our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process GFE within our supply chain, ensuring compliance with DEFSTAN 05-99 and DEFSTAN 611 standards.
  • Represent Thales in GFE audits and customer material audits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement improved solutions within the GFE supply chain, including developing interfaces with key customers.
  • Improve GFE accountability and transactional compliance, ensuring seamless integration with our supply chain processes.
  • Provide administration support to improve process effectiveness within GFE/CFE areas.
  • Participate in the development of solutions to process issues, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in key Supply Chain functions in the Defence industry, including management of GFE.
  • Proven track record in delivering compliant processes and upholding Quality Assurance in all aspects of the supply chain.
  • Ability to manage and grow improved efficiency with the customer interface.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and enforcing audit plans.
  • Understanding of Defence industry supply chain standards.
  • Experience in working across varied functions.
  • Recognised Supply Chain qualification is desirable.
