Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Improvement Specialist to join our UKGI Claims Supply Chain Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of property claims and be able to motivate external suppliers and Aviva employees to make sustainable improvements in property repair claims performance.

About the Role

The key purpose of this role is to review performance and oversee actions that will improve service, accurate costing, safety, and quality on all types of property claims. The successful candidate will use their technical knowledge and relationship management skills to identify opportunities and motivate others to change and improve quality.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service, accurate costing, safety, and quality on all types of property claims.
  • Motivate external suppliers and Aviva employees to make sustainable improvements in property repair claims performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, best practice sharing, and action planning to individuals to motivate them to embed sustainable improvements on all future claims they manage.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a real desire to make a difference for customers. The ideal candidate will also have technical property/buildings knowledge and a solid understanding of property claims from being out in the field.

Benefits

Our starting salary for this role is circa £45,000 per annum, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. We also offer a bonus opportunity of up to 8% of annual salary, a generous pension scheme, 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and discounts on Aviva products.
