At GSK, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Engineering Manager to join our team at Worthing Manufacturing Site. This is a site-based role that requires strong leadership and technical expertise to manage the Operational Engineering elements within the Manufacturing and Packaging areas.
The successful candidate will be accountable for operational Engineering ways of working, compliance, and the application of centrally controlled disciplines and standards. They will also be responsible for engineering strategy, performance, compliance, cost, and ways of working to the assigned value stream.

In this role, you will:
- Manage all engineering activity within the relevant value stream at Worthing.
- Provide senior engineering leadership as part of the ELT group for engineering operations across site.
- Develop and implement engineering strategy, performance, compliance, cost, and ways of working to the assigned value stream.
- Direct project control of minor capital activity.
- Ensure all elements of equipment and engineering compliance (Quality and EHS) within the value stream.
- Manage the Engineering Continuous Improvement strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for professionals with the following required skills:
- Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
- Experience of engineering maintenance management, minimum Green Belt in Lean Sigma.
- Project Management skills.
- Good financial understanding.
- Good understanding of Quality Management System.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Chartered Engineer.
