Internal Sales Engineer

At Oliver Valves, we're seeking a skilled Internal Sales Engineer to join our Sales Division at our Head Office in Knutsford. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our sales team to develop sales of a particular product range and provide sales support to our Field Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries, evaluating each technically and commercially to offer the correct products.
  • Monitor the quotation process in conjunction with other departments.
  • Investigate costs with the purchasing department.
  • Promptly follow up on enquiries to maximize order intake.
  • Provide support for the External Sales force, Distributors, and Agents.
  • Assist with customer visits, both internal and external.

Requirements

  • Experience in selling technical products.
  • Competence in reading engineering drawings.
  • Management of a portfolio of international customers.
  • Initiative and decision-making at the appropriate level.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and balance a high workload while maintaining tight deadlines.
  • Ownership of tasks and responsibility for your own work.
