Job Title: Academic Engagement Manager

Queen Alexandra College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Engagement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the academic success and well-being of our students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and maintain accurate attendance statistics to inform next steps and support student success.
  • Collaborate with line managers and staff to develop and implement strategies to improve college attendance and punctuality.
  • Contribute to whole-college initiatives, multi-agency training, and group work to enhance college admission and attendance.
  • Stay up-to-date with national policies, procedures, and legislation related to attendance and ensure the college is compliant.
  • Work closely with Curriculum Area Managers and Assistant Principals to support the effective implementation of the College Improvement Plan.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of Databridge, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
