Payroll Sales Director

We are seeking a talented payroll professional to lead the delivery of high-quality payroll deployment projects. This role will involve providing specialist payroll advice and working closely with client leads to optimize processes and maximize the benefits of a new payroll solution.
The Role
As a Payroll Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading business development and sales initiatives, including bid, proposal, and contract/commercial negotiations with our payroll clients. You will also lead the growth of the Powered HR practice through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership, and supporting the career aspirations of team members.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of high-quality payroll deployment projects
• Provide specialist payroll advice and work closely with client leads to optimize processes and maximize the benefits of a new payroll solution
• Advise clients on the transformational aspects of payroll in relation to operating model, and relevant process execution
• Lead business development and sales initiatives, including bid, proposal, and contract/commercial negotiations with our payroll clients
• Lead the growth of the Powered HR practice through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership, and supporting the career aspirations of team members
Requirements
• Proven experience successfully delivering payroll programs
• A track record of selling payroll solutions
• Advanced functional understanding of payroll products
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Experience in HR leading transformation projects, leading workstreams, and managing teams
• Experience producing project deliverables (business requirements, functional specs, configuration documents, process flows, use cases, requirements traceability matrices, etc.)
• Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members
